Over the next ten years, we envision a new cadre of adaptation leaders that think systemically, use a multitude of deep listening and experiential learning tools to work collaboratively, and are guided by principles of equity, innovation and co-production. These leaders will hail from academia, government and civil society and will, as part of their ten-year adaptation leadership journey, already have implemented collaborative, transformative decision-making processes through a learning-by-doing approach.
